I cooked some interesting fritters on Monday. Blended vege fritters. My very own original recipe with blended onion, potato, carrot and broccoli. Who knew blended broccoli smelt like mowed grass. After eating a few it started to taste that way too. I like the idea and the taste wasn’t bad but I wont be using broccoli in the future. They look a lot more green in this picture than they really were:
This morning before leaving to uni a big weta dropped onto the kitchen floor from somewhere. I just had to take some pictures, it really is more cute than a weta should be:

Sakura Festival Saturday, Sep 20 2008
Miscellaneous Cherry Blossoms, IPC, Palmerston North, Sakura Festival 7:04 pm
I went to the IPC Sakura Festival with Ann today. It was lots of fun, there were exciting things to see and food to eat. I’ll be going back next year 
I don’t know much about it (we got there late and missed the opening) so I’ll just post a bunch of photos of the events we saw.

Some Kendo:
Pretty Japanese girls were a lot more popular than Kendo or JuJutsu for some reason. We went for a look through the library when we came back the place was packed and we didn’t have a good viewing position:

IPC looks a lot nicer than Massey. Massey looks run down when compared.

The time has come to start a new blog. I will try my best to limit my posts to interesting and hopefully informative content. Here are some of the things you should expect to find here.
- Food – I’m trying out life as a vegetarian. I enjoy it. Sort of.
- Science – I like science. Nearly all areas of science interest me.
- Engineering – I’m studying mechatronics and will probably make some posts related to it.
- Writing – at least until NaNoWriMo is finished.
